North Coast Medical Centre – Byron Integrative Health offers you the convenience of combined consultations where you can see a GP and a naturopath at the same time. In the one consultation, receive biomedical assessment and testing from a GP along with complementary assessment and treatment from a naturopath. Together, we provide patient-focused care and devise and implement strategies to meet your individual health needs.
This can include health plans for current conditions as well as disease prevention strategies.
Initial integrative consultations are one hour: 15 minutes with a GP and naturopath, followed by 45 minutes with the naturopath. Follow up appointments are usually half an hour.

Women's Integrative Health
For female health conditions, you can see a female GP for testing, diagnosis & management, and a female naturopath for dietary & supplement advice and naturopathic treatment - all in the one consultation.
Menstrual problems - PMS, period pain, heavy bleeding, endometriosis, fibroids
Cycle irregularity including polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS)
Preconception health care - nutritional, lifestyle, dietary & supplement advice, fertility charting, IVF support
Pregnancy & Lactation - nutritional, lifestyle, dietary & supplement advice
Peri-menopausal changes - hot flushes, night sweats, breast tenderness, heavy bleeding, mood, sleep or cognitive changes, prevention of osteoporosis and cardiovascular conditions
Female integrative health consultations are currently $100 for your initial one hour consultation.
Paediatric Integrative Health
Paediatric integrative health care is a time-saving option that offers the convenience of you and your child seeing a GP and naturopath at the same time. If you don't necessarily want conventional treatment as your only option, you can combine the peace-of-mind of a GP assessment along with gentler complementary medicine treatment protocols.
This is also a fantastic option if you are wanting to focus on preventative health in your children.
Management and treatment of acute conditions: colds & flus, ear infections, gastro, tonsillitis, conjunctivitis, sinusitis, bronchitis, urinary tract infections
Treatment or prevention of allergic conditions: eczema, asthma, allergies
Digestive conditions: abdominal pain, indigestion, poor appetite, constipation, diarrhoea, nausea, food intolerance, worms, microbiome preservation
Skin conditions: eczema, warts, skin infections
Nervous system: sleep issues, nervousness, ADHD, cognitive issues
Acute paediatric consultations are usually 15-30 minutes, initial consultations 30-60 minutes and follow-up appointments 30 minutes.
Our GPs bulk bill children under 16 and the naturopath offers a discounted children's rate.
